Ashford Hemp Industries designed the Ashford Hemp Processor in 2018, and we use this model to process our locally grown hemp for bast fibre, hurd, hemp fines and dust.
We manufacture the Ashford Hemp Processor and it is available for sale throughout Australia and overseas. We regularly provide samples of hemp materials from our processor in order to expand the hemp market opportunities in Australia.
Our goal is to increase the availability of hemp processing equipment around Australia to reduce the need for excessive transportation of raw and processed products. Our hemp processor is built inside a 40′ shipping container and is sized and priced to be accessible in many locations. The scaled model still packs a punch, producing enough hemp hurd each week to build a three bedroom house!
