For images to display well on desktops and mobile devices and work well in search engines there are some properties they should have so they are optimised.
- Your hero image should be landscape at ratio 16:9
- Be around 300-1000KB – not more than 1 MB
- Not be pixlated or high res – a fine balance
- Saved with appropriate name
- Your business name and what the image is of – EG (xyz installers_hempcrete block wall_hemp home.jpg)
- Not – image098ytr.heic
- Have appropriate file type extension:
- .jpg is best for images
- .png is best for graphics and logos

Please consider the below when providing your logo:
- Logos should be saved in .png format with the background removed. Use Photoea to do this.
- Logos should be about 300×300 pixels. Square is better. Use Photoea to do this.
