We’re excited to announce the launch of HempBuildingAustralia YouTube, and we’re kicking things off with a bang: a full series of interviews, pitches, and conversations from Hemp Connect Forum 2025! 5pm every day for 30+ days.
HempBuildingAustralia YouTube
The forum, held at La Trobe University in June, brought together hemp growers, builders, researchers, architects, product developers, sustainability leaders, and policymakers for a day of future-focused discussion and real-world solutions. Now, you can revisit those moments from wherever you are.
Daily Videos from 18 July
We began releasing videos on 18 July 2025, and they’ll continue daily through to roughly 16 August. 34+ videos in the full series. Each video drops at 5pm. Check back each day for your daily dose of Hemp Connect content.
From architects designing carbon-conscious communities to farmers reflecting on the growth of the hemp industry, and from product innovators pitching materials made from hempcrete, to researchers explaining how hemp can accelerate our path to net zero, these videos capture a wide cross-section of Australia’s growing hemp movement.
Every story is worth hearing. Every solution deserves attention.
Why It Matters
The building and construction industry is one of the world’s biggest carbon polluters — but it doesn’t have to be. As our community already knows, hemp offers a tangible pathway toward regenerative, low-carbon building systems.
By sharing this content widely and making it easily accessible via YouTube, we aim to:
- Spark new conversations and collaborations
- Showcase Australian expertise and innovation
- Make the hemp building movement more visible, mainstream, and fundable
Hemp Connect Forum 2025 was about connection, but it was also about legacy. Publishing these videos ensures that the wisdom shared on the day lives on — not just in memory, but in media.
Help Us Get the Word Out
Here’s where you come in: watch, like, comment, and subscribe.
Every action, even just a like or a short comment, helps YouTube’s algorithm recognise the value of this content. The more people engage, the more it gets recommended to others.
That means more builders, more architects, more students, more councils, more funders, and more future homebuyers get exposed to hemp as a serious, viable solution.
You can make a real impact just by tuning in.
Subscribe to Stay Connected
By subscribing to our channel at youtube.com/@HempBuildingAustralia you’ll not only catch every Hemp Connect Forum 2025 video as it drops, but you’ll also be looped in for our future projects.

A Huge Thank You
A special thanks to the Australian Hemp Council for hosting the forum and to La Trobe University for opening their doors to this important conversation. And of course, thank you to the speakers, panelists, and attendees who generously shared their insights on camera — we’re so excited to now share them with the world.
Thanks You! Let’s get hemp into the spotlight — where it belongs.
