In this video Damien Bray shows us around his fabulous shed to hempcrete home conversion.
“A big thanks to Damien for taking me on as part of the team on one of his projects and sharing his space, time and knowledge with me and the wider hemp community”.

The notion of retrofitting existing structures with hempcrete is s do fantastic. We have so many houses ‘built like tents’ in Australia. Instead of knocking these down we can use the existing slab, structure and roof, the hempcrete external walls, re-jigging internal walls for modern open plan lifestyles, upgrading windows where necessary (re glazing or new high performance windows) confirm the doors are all good and you have a new house with passive design principles with minimal impact on the environment and in fact would consume and sink carbon away from our ever heater by atmosphere.
Now to convince the buyers and builders that this approach has merit. Hopefully this directory and help push us all in the direction.
I’m interested in lining the inside of a shed ….using blocks .Has anyone done this out of hemp ( like mud bricks)
Hi, have you considered spraying hempcrete internally and rendering? We have done it to x3 sheds.
