Hemp Building Directory joins iHemp NSW – strengthening connections across the Australian hemp industry
We’re excited to share that the Hemp Building Directory (HBD) has officially become a Business Member of iHemp NSW, the state body representing industrial hemp growers, processors, and partners across New South Wales.
iHemp NSW plays an important role in connecting advocates, advancing innovation, and supporting the growth of the hemp industry through collaboration and advocacy. As the NSW affiliate of the Australian Hemp Council (AHC), iHemp NSW contributes to a united national voice for the hemp sector while maintaining a strong, grassroots presence within the state.
The AHC was established in 2020 to represent state-based hemp associations and to help coordinate national-level industry development. Each state and territory association nominates a councillor to join the AHC management committee, ensuring diverse representation and cooperation across Australia’s hemp value chain.
Our involvement
HBD founder Jeremy attended the recent iHemp NSW Annual General Meeting and has been invited to assist on the Marketing & Communications subcommittee. This role aligns closely with HBD’s ongoing work to educate, inform, and connect people across the hemp building industry.
While the subcommittee is still in the early stages of forming, this opportunity reinforces HBD’s commitment to supporting a collaborative and transparent hemp industry, one that bridges agriculture, construction, and sustainability.
