iHemp NSW is hosting a Hemp Building Expert Panel Webinar, bringing together practitioners, homeowners and industry voices to share practical experience from the ground. For those wanting to get their hands dirty, the upcoming workshop in Cressy, Tasmania offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from experienced installers working at the forefront of hemp construction.
We’re also sharing a milestone piece on the Hemp Building Directory itself, reflecting on the journey from a simple idea to a growing movement supporting builders, suppliers and clients across Australia and New Zealand.
On the ground, Sustainable House Day opens the doors to Open Field House in Muckleford, a project that brings together Passive House performance and hempcrete in a way that has to be experienced to be understood.
And at the broader end of the spectrum, early stages are underway on the high-profile Zac Effron Northern Rivers project led by Joost Bakker, signalling continued momentum and visibility for hemp in mainstream construction.
