We’ve entered the Cannabiz Awards 2026
Hemp Building Directory has officially submitted an entry for Hemp Product of the Year at the Cannabiz Awards 2026. Australia and New Zealand’s premier recognition of excellence in the legal cannabis industry.
The presentation ceremony is in Melbourne on 11 August, with the shortlist announced on 18 June.
HBD was built with a clear purpose: make it easier for people to find, understand and deliver hemp building projects, and to help normalise hemp as a mainstream, high-performance building material across Australia and New Zealand.
Over the past 12 months, the platform has grown from ~12,700 to over 19,100 sessions, the newsletter is adding 20–50+ new subscribers every month, and most of the major hemp building businesses in Australia are now listed and active. We’ve been part of the Australian Hemp Council Conference, Hemp Connect 2025, and recently joined iHemp NSW as a business member.
That progress belongs to every business, builder, designer and advocate who’s been part of this community. You’re why the directory exists. and why it keeps growing.
